About Us

We are a student-led initiative on a mission. We hope to influence and help other students discover the joy of mathematics. And this is because math matters to all of us. Mathematics is not only a big driver in addressing the world’s complex problems such as growing more food to feed the world, designing sustainable future cities, and ethical use of artificial intelligence, to name a few, but it is also a universal language that opens the window to the world. It also provides many varied career opportunities.

As students who are passionate about learning and advancing math, we would like to change the perception of math being hard and the mindset of “not being a math person” that is common around us.

Secondly, we want to ensure that no one is left behind.

Through our Math Buddies program, we are striving to help other students discover the joy of learning mathematics. We have built a team of students who excel in math, to partner with students who need extra help in math and help them succeed.

  • Math Monday

    Math Monday is a weekly drop-in lunchtime or after-school activity where students can get hands-on with math games, puzzles and manipulatives that help build their math skills.
    Math Monday is intended to reach all students at their own pace and is especially well suited for elementary students in grades K-5.
